Position: Registered Dietitian

📍 Location: Wheeling, WV

🕒 Schedule: Full-Time (32 hours/week), Flexible Scheduling, No Weekends

💵 Compensation: $22 – $44/hour (Based on experience)

🚚 Relocation Bonus: Up to $10,000 available

We’re excited to offer a brand-new opportunity for a Registered Dietitian to join a specialized inpatient recovery hospital focused on post-ICU care for chronically and critically ill patients. This is a chance to be part of a growing team and help shape a new in-house nutrition program from the ground up.

If full-time hours are required, additional shifts are available at a nearby affiliated location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Medical Nutrition Therapies
• Collaborate with medical staff, patients, families, and food service teams
• Conduct nutritional assessments and reassessments
• Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition support plans
• Partner with Speech Therapy to optimize textured diets and oral intake
• Ensure nutrition orders align with facility standards and diet manuals
• Incorporate cultural, religious, and personal preferences into care plans
• Maintain and educate staff on therapeutic diet manuals
• Stay current with nutrition science and maintain professional credentials
• Evaluate food/drug and supplement interactions
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and menu planning
• Conduct meal rounds to ensure quality and compliance with prescribed diets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food & Nutrition or related field
• Active state licensure/certification (as required)
• Registered Dietitian credential (Commission on Dietetic Registration)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare facility
