Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the accurate processing of title documentation. This position requires a strong understanding of title ordering, title clearance, and closing process. The Title Processor will collaborate with our title provider, processors, and closers to facilitate a smooth process for all parties involved.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify title documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and process title reports, title commitments, and related legal documents for real estate transactions.
• Coordinate with escrow officers, attorneys, and title companies to facilitate smooth processing of titles.
• Assist in the review of loan files for underwriting purposes, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
• Maintain detailed records of all processed titles and related correspondence for audit purposes.
• Support loan origination teams by providing timely updates on title status and resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise during processing.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or knowledge in FNMA guidelines, mortgage servicing, or loan processing is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of underwriting processes, credit analysis, and loan origination procedures.
• Familiarity with legal contracts, escrow procedures, and banking operations related to real estate transactions.
• Knowledge of TILA regulations and fair housing laws to ensure compliance during processing activities.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to accurately handle complex documentation.
• Proficiency in basic math skills, including 10-key typing and calculations related to escrow amounts or loan figures.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
